The end of the world is near in “Lost Souls”. A group of Catholics, led by Father Lareaux (Jon Hurt) who knows Satan intends to become a man as Jesus once did to be the anti-Christ. The vessel for this unholy entity is a writer named Peter Kelson (Ben Chaplin) who knows too well all about evil due to his work with serial killers. Father Lareaux’s right hand confidant, Maya Larkin (Winona Ryder) seeks out Peter to try and convince him of what is coming. Maya knows Satan is all too real for he once possessed her, himself. However Maya isn’t the only looking for Peter as they both discover the followers of Satan are looking to make sure their dark lord has his vessel when it’s time.
