Roland Sharp (Tommy Lee Jones) is a tough Texas ranger who is on ? hot trail of a drug deal. But his partner gets wounded in a shootout, his operation is blown and his informant is murdered. The only witnesses to this murder are a group of cheerleaders - a colorful bunch who must now realize that their lives are in danger. So Sharp moves into their house and poses as the new assistant coach so that he can both protect his witnesses and solve the case. However, the girls have a few surprises in store for their new guardian!
