The movie is about FBI agent Malcolm Turner (Martin Lawrence), who disguises himself as Big Momma, in order to solve a crime. Malcolm and his partners are on the hunt for a robbery suspect, supposedly coming to town to find his ex-girlfriend, Sherry (Nia Long). Malcolm moves into Big Momma’s house to impersonate Big Momma and at the same time have an eye on Sherry and her son, who are on their way to visit Big Momma, but aren’t aware of the fact that she is out of town. Malcolm is now confronted with several risky situations that could reveal who he really is. What doesn’t make it easier for him is the fact the he is also falling in love with Sherry.
