Little Nicky is a film by Adam Sandler and crew about Nicky (Adam Sandler), a mash-faced son of Satan, and his two maniacal brothers, Cassius (Tommy 'Tiny' Lister) and Adrian (Rhys Ifans). Satan (Harvey Keitel) is about to retire from his throne as Satan and must name one of his sons to be the next Satan to keep the balance of good and evil. Cassius and Adrian are vying for the position while Nicky does not want to take over for his father. The two evil brothers find out that they can leave through the gates of hell and cause terror on Earth, which consequently freezes the gates not allowing any more souls in. This in turn causes the slow demise of Satan. Nicky must travel up to Earth and capture his brothers in order to restore the balance of hell. Nicky’s grandfather, Lucifer (Rodney Dangerfield), keeps much of the comedy going in the film.
